Lift

As one of the main vendors for ‘Lift’, DNEG delivered 435 shots across 17 sequences. Our teams’ work included an AirBus 380 airplane, a mountain airstrip and the MOSE system panels that were in the boat chase scene in Venice, Italy.

The plane scenes in ‘Lift’ are packed with action, suspense and danger! DNEG worked on a full CG environment for the AirBus 380 emergency landing at an airport in the Alps during a snowstorm. Our teams also worked on the stealth jet rendezvous sequence with the AirBus 380, in flight over Europe, creating a full CG environment with clouds and mapping the ground from the English Channel to the French Alps.
