Wonder Woman 1984

We were one of the main VFX partners on WW84, delivering varied and challenging visual effects work across a number of key sequences. Our work included a blend of fully digital environment work, extensive set extension work, FX development for key characters and events, full digi-doubles and character animation work, plus a number of full CG shots. We were responsible for some of the key action sequences in the movie, along with multiple smaller sequences throughout the film.

Being a global show, the work was completed across multiple sites, showcasing the talents of our artists from across the globe.

A new era of wonder begins

We were thrilled to set the mood of the film by bringing to life Themyscira and Diana’s childhood in the Opening Games sequence. Derived from on-location helicopter photogrammetry, we filled the environment with detail and textures to create a lush, mythical setting. Working intimately with film scans, we achieved seamless visuals — from the fully CG horse that young Diana rides in a close-up, to the vacation-worthy ocean that surrounds the tropical island.
