The Bourne Ultimatum

Matt Damon returns as the trained assassin, Jason Bourne in the latest installment of the smash-hit action adventure series, The Bourne Ultimatum, which opened in the US on August 3rd, 2007. In the film, Bourne continues his quest to find the real Jason Bourne, while at the same time he is aggressively hunted by the people who made him what he is.

Having recently worked with the film’s director Paul Greengrass on the critically-acclaimed United 93, DNEG jumped at the chance to provide all the VFX for the film.

Production VFX Supervisor, Peter Chiang, oversaw more than 590 “invisible” shots for the film at DNEG, including set extensions, digital doubles, CG cars, debris, and hundreds of 2D fixes, for all the key sequences within the movie. The team was lead internally by VFX Supervisor Charlie Noble and VFX Producer Matt Plummer.
