As the exclusive animation studio producing Garfield alongside Alcon Entertainment, DNEG Animation couldn’t be more excited about welcoming the renowned actor on board!
Jackson, best known for his iconic roles in Jurassic Park, the Star Wars prequel trilogy, Goodfellas, Coming to America and Pulp Fiction, joins the cast as a brand new character: Garfield’s father, Vic.
This isn’t the first time Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Pratt have brought a comic-book adaptation to the big screen – both famously star in the MCU as Nick Fury and Peter Quill (A.K.A Star-Lord), respectively. Garfield’s growing all-star cast is supported by an amazing crew, with David Reynolds (Finding Nemo) writing and Mark Dindal (Chicken Little, The Emperor’s New Groove) directing, and DNEG CEO Namit Malhotra and DNEG Animation President Tom Jacomb serving as producers.
