Following on from this week’s announcement that our work on Interstellar has been BAFTA nominated, we’re delighted to confirm that our work is also up for Best Visual Effects at this year’s Academy Awards® with DNEG’s Paul Franklin and Andrew Lockley nominated along with SFX Supervisor Scott Fisher and New Deal VFX Supervisor Ian Hunter.
In addition, this week, Interstellar received a total of FOUR nominations for the prestigious VES Awards for Outstanding VFX, Best Compositing, Best Virtual Cinematography (Tesseract) and Best Created Environment (Tesseract).
