Landes played Hooten, an adventurer, who teams up with Lady Alexandra Lindo-Parker from the British Museum to go in search of lost treasures, from the tomb of Alexander the Great to the Buddha’s missing scroll.

Synopsis

Two treasure hunters with opposing sensibilities meet in the Amazon jungle and form an unlikely partnership as they travel the globe in pursuit of hidden treasures. Hooten is a smooth-talking yet foolhardy lone wolf, who often finds himself in sticky situations. Lady Alexandra is a straight-laced museum curator with an adventurous side, eager to venture to uncharted lands. They form an unlikely partnership, but are drawn together by expediency, yearning for danger and love of legendary artefacts.
