With Harry since 2004
DNEG has worked on every Harry Potter film since the Prisoner of Azkaban and we were once again delighted to be asked to work with VFX Supervisor Tim Burke on the final instalment of the franchise. The team at DNEG was lead by VFX Supervisor David Vickery, alongside VFX Producer Charlotte Loughlane, 3D Supervisor Rick Leary, 2D Supervisor Sean Stranks and VFX Executive Producer Dominic Sidoli.
The team at DNEG delivered 409 shots and worked on some of the most exciting and visually stunning sequences in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, including the cart ride into the Gringotts vault, the Gringotts CGI dragon, the floating death-eaters circling the skies above the school and the creation of a fully digital Hogwarts or ‘digi-Hogwarts’ which included extensive battle sequences and environment builds pre and post battle.
