Changes are happening in our DNEG Animation leadership team!
As we near DNEG Animation’s 10 Year Anniversary and gear up for an exciting (and busy!) 2024 ahead, we’re delighted to announce that Crosby Clyse has stepped up into the role of Managing Director, DNEG Animation, and David Park has joined as our new Head of Production!
Since joining DNEG Animation in 2016, Crosby has been an integral part of guiding the division’s growth and development. As our previous Head of Production, he was instrumental in defining the pipeline and processes of the new division, and he has overseen the delivery of all our shows to date, including Ron’s Gone Wrong, Entergalactic, Nimona & Under the Boardwalk! As DNEG Animation’s new Managing Director, Crosby will manage the DNEG Animation global team and its growing slate of projects.
Joining DNEG Animation to take on the Head of Production role is David Park. Most recently at Passion Pictures, David oversaw several of their animated features and series as Head of Production, including short film The Day I Became a Bird. Prior to this he worked at Locksmith Animation, where he collaborated with DNEG Animation as Associate Producer on Ron’s Gone Wrong – the division’s very first animated feature! With over 20 years of experience in the industry (including 15 years at Pixar), David’s extensive list of credits includes animated classics such as Coco, Monsters University, Toy Story 3, Wall-E and Ratatouille.
Commenting on these exciting developments, DNEG’s CEO Namit Malhotra said:
“This spring we will be celebrating DNEG Animation’s 10 Year Anniversary and the great successes that the team has already achieved. As we embark on the next phase of our journey, and a new slate of exciting productions and client partnerships, I know that DNEG Animation will be in good hands under the leadership of Crosby, David, and the rest of the senior team. The quality bar that the team sets is always of the highest level, and they continue to push the boundaries in character animation and the unique and distinct looks that they create for every project that they undertake. I would like to thank and congratulate the whole DNEG Animation crew on 10 incredible years and many more to come. This is just the beginning.”
