DNEG welcomes Erika Burton as EVP, VFX – Global Head of Studios

Experienced Senior Executive Joins in Los Angeles

We are delighted to welcome Erika Burton as DNEG’s new Executive Vice President, VFX – Global Head of Studios.

Erika brings over 25 years of senior-level experience to her role at DNEG. Most recently, she led as EVP, Global Features & Streaming VFX at Method Studios. Prior to that, Burton held senior leadership positions at major studios, including Walt Disney Animation Studios, PDI / DreamWorks Animation, Digital Domain and Rhythm & Hues. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, the Producers Guild of America and the Visual Effects Society.

Operating as part of DNEG’s senior leadership team, Erika will help to establish and implement our organisational vision, goals and objectives, as well as leveraging her extensive network of industry contacts to help attract even more high profile work.

Talking about her new role, Erika said:

Erika will also work closely with Merzin Tavaria, President, Global Production and Operations – together they will oversee the organization of DNEG’s production capabilities and the efficient delivery of work across its global locations, while identifying and implementing process and workflow improvements.
