Led by Archie Donato (Animation VFX Supervisor) and Kapil Sharma (Animation Director), DNEG Animation created the world of Entergalactic – from bustling environments to the vibrant lives of the characters! Our team worked closely with Netflix and the filmmaking team to ensure that every element was perfectly crafted and authentic to New York City.
The Lost City

A romance novelist and her cover model race against a billionaire in the search for an ancient lost city. Get swept up in this action-packed romantic comedy that has all the ingredients of a perfect escape: Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum and a treasure hunt on a tropical island!
Led by DNEG VFX Supervisor Jonathan Bowen and DNEG VFX Producer Katie-Leigh Murray, our DNEG crew delivered over 400 shots to bring The Lost City‘s most exciting moments to life, including immersive environments, futuristic jets, pulse-racing lava and more.
Slumberland
WHERE TO WATCH: NETFLIX
Leave the cold behind and discover a world from your wildest dreams. Based on the comic strip by Winsor McCay, Slumberland follows a young girl (Marlow Barkley) who teams up with an eccentric outlaw named “Flip” (Jason Momoa) to travel through dreams and flee nightmares in hopes of reuniting with her father.
Led by VFX Supervisor Tristan Myles and CG Supervisor Eve Levasseur-Marineau, our DNEG team delivered 230 shots over seven key sequences in order to bring this dream world to life, including a ballroom built from a thousand butterflies, immersive underwater environments, a smoke squid and more!

Wonder Woman 1984

Travel back in time to the 1980’s with Wonder Woman 1984! Gal Gadot is back for this superhero sequel, where we see the legendary Diana Price prepare to fight back against two different foes: Maxwell Lord and the Cheetah.
To bring director Patty Jenkins’ visionary film to fruition, our DNEG team delivered 774 shots across a number of key sequences. The work included a blend of fully digital environment work, extensive set extension work, FX development for key characters and events, digi-doubles and character animation work.
Ron’s Gone Wrong

Meet your new best friend! Ron’s Gone Wrong follows the friendship between 11-year-old Barney and his new robotic buddy, Ron – though it soon becomes clear that his friend comes with a few quirks…
Created in partnership with Locksmith Animation, Ron’s Gone Wrong was the very first animated movie from DNEG Animation! As the sole digital producer, DNEG Animation crafted over 1,600 final shots for the film, including 168 robot character variants and over 1,900 human character variants to bring this heart-warming tale to life.
