DOUBLE NEGATIVE BREATHES LIFE INTO CORNELIA FUNKE'S INKHEART

The long anticipated film of Cornelia Funke's fantasy novel, Inkheart opens in the US today. In the story, Mo Folchart and his daughter Meggie have a curious gift, they can 'read' characters from books into the real world, but in doing so bring adventure, mayhem and menace into their lives. Funke's novel enjoys a huge following amongst children and their parents around the world, having sold more than 15 million copies across the globe, in 37 different languages.

Double Negative worked closely with the film's director, Iain Softly and VFX Supervisor, Angus Bickerton to translate the rich detail of the story into an astonishing cinema experience.
