Part of the BBC’s Shakespeare festival, the cast includes some of the world’s best acting talent including Benedict Cumberbatch, Dame Judi Dench, Sir Michael Gambon, Sophie Okonedo, Keeley Hawes, Hugh Bonneville and Tom Sturridge.

The series contains over 150 VFX shots, including creating the Palace of Westminster, the Tower of London’s “Onions”, burning Joan of Arc at the stake, Army replication, medieval Thames views, CG Ships, blood and gore enhancements and the impressive end shot of the series. DNegTV’s VFX Supervisor Jonathan Privett says, “Working with Dominic Cooke (director) was a fabulous and collaborative experience that allowed the artists the freedom to make the most out of every shot and to help bring Shakespeare’s broader world to life. It was a privilege to work on a show with so much talent and that DNegTV could make a contribution to that.”
